About The Author

The creative bug had bitten Nayna at an early age but she covered it with the band-aid of strong academics. When graduating at the top of her class at the University didn’t satiate her ambitions, she further fueled her achiever’s trait by securing the highest 'distinction' level in her post graduation degree. Riding high on the corporate ladder, she noticed that band-aid and pulled it out, unleashing the veiled personality.

The internet was abuzz with her and the search engines had mapped a new, popular, searchable name: Nayna Chakrabarty.

The fact is fiction writing came naturally to her. After successful publications in many internationally renowned thriller and horror magazines, she exercised her talent in other forms of writing. With an appealing edge in her manuscripts and catchy themes that sought to quench the thirst of current times, she won accolades of many editors. Hundreds of articles later that left their indelible mark on several online publications and blogs, she began taking on projects working for other authors as a ghost writer.

Her holiday memoirs are very popular among travel journals which display her ability to answer thorny factual questions, encouraging readers to explore deep within, to unleash their true spirit. Far from being an arm chair speculator, as a cultural traveler, she gains first-hand knowledge from the natives and then with her research ability, she brings out the nuances of the unexplored world.

From her escapades to the highest points on the planet in the Himalayas to the bone rattling white-water rafting in the Ganges, even such small instances, which reflect Nayna’s zealous and audacious style of living don’t do enough justice to the breadth of her expertise. For today’s readers, whose minds are like scorching deserts waiting for relief, Nayna’s writing provide the beginning of the first few drops of rain that have the potential to flood people’s hearts with knowledge.
