Body Toning Simplified
May 30, 2007
Muscle toning is essential to firm the body after a weight loss. With age too, the body tends to sag and looses its elasticity. Imagine indulging in a fun activity and actually getting toned… sounds too good to be true?
Swimming is the answer. This activity is a stress buster and although it seems very easy but if done correctly can bring excellent results. The breast and back strokes help to develop chest, arms, shoulder and upper back.
This activity is also beneficial for those who cannot take part in high intense cardiovascular exercises like people suffering from arthritis, knee and back problems. The muscles get toned without pressurizing the bones or tendons. In addition, swimming helps in weight management, allowing a good calorific burn.
So enjoy frolicking in the pool, knowing that exercising can also be fun.
