A Bright Spark On A Gloomy Writing Day
June 1, 2007
Sometimes a simple incident triggers a chain of thoughts and before you know it you have a new concept for an article. You are excited and can’t wait to write it all down. It may happen that you have the thought, the conclusion set but you don’t know how to build on it or make it in the right amount of words to a magazine’s requirement.
Instead of blankly doodling on your notebook or sitting numbly in front of your computer, it is better if you take a break or talk through it – What is my basic idea about? What is the message I am trying to give my audience? To get these answers it is good to do a bit of research. Some amount of conceptualizing and developing it from a different angle suddenly adds sparkle the original idea.
Never give up on such surge of creativity even if you do not find immediate answers. Ponder over it; give it time and it will develop into a well-crafted piece. Creative writing abilities will develop if you put your heart and soul into it.
