Thumbs Up To Your Creative Success

What do you associate balloons and streamers with? A Party?
Mr. Celebration is always accompanied by his date, the enchanting Ms. Joy. They are inseparable, eager to participate after any success. But how often do we invite them?
Every writer should always celebrate their accomplishments. No matter how small the publication is or even if your article has been published only for exposure to build your credit list, a celebration is mandatory. The hours, days and years spent in honing the creative writing craft, should never be neglected. It is a stepping stone to a future you have always dreamt of.
These small gestures help to develop your confidence and self-worth. I remember my first published article by The Preservation Foundation, Inc., A Nonprofit Book Publisher. I had called up everyone I knew including my parents and sibling’s office colleagues whom I had been introduced only during Christmas gatherings and official events. I really didn’t care – I was ecstatic.
My news got even better when I was selected as a finalist in their non-fiction contest. Click here to read the story.
No one can encourage you more than you. This genuine feeling of happiness can only be understood by a few then why hide it from the rest. So when am I going to be invited to your party?
