Muscle Atrophy Is Attacking Every Computer User Today

July 17, 2007

Muscles of the hand are no longer as flexible as before. The trend of neat handwriting seems to be deteriorating at a faster pace. Welcome to the new tech generation.

Text messaging (short messaging service) and perennial hours of computer usage has resulted in muscle atrophy. This is attacking the new generation more than the old. Muscle atrophy occurs when the muscles of the hand become weak because of inactivity.

Writing with a pen is an ideal way to strengthen the hand muscles and revives the handwriting again. Muscle atrophy is reversible if one decides to exercise the hand muscles on regular bases and conditions them again. Then the pain ceases.

Every muscle of the body is vital for existence. The insignificant muscles of the hand are never considered worthy until one day they decide to take a break and get stiff. Then we realize its importance. It is time we learn to balance our life so that every miniscule part of our being is fit and healthy.
