New Rubik’s Cube

Rubik’s cube created quite a stir back in the 80’s. Everyone had to have one whether it was a school kid or Grandpa. Solving the cube was a craze. There were records made to crack it in minutes. Books were available on how to solve it. 300,000,000 copies were estimated to have sold across the globe. Well, those were the good old days. Nothing was designed after that to stimulate the entire generation. But now it’s back…
Rubik’s Cube, Revolution/Revo was designed for the new generation. Today’s kids have been stimulated so much with high tech gadgets that the old Rubik’s cube wouldn’t appeal to them. The Rubik’s Revolution is fast paced and designed with lights and sounds. It consists of six electronic games that can be played with multi players as well. This has different levels compelling the player to play on.
Rubik’s 360 releasing shortly will take the cube to a new level. This time it is going to be a transparent sphere with six colored balls trapped inside. The players must get the balls from an inner sphere into matching slots on the outer sphere by shaking them through a middle sphere that has only two holes.
Intriguing isn’t it? But will this create the same amount of stir like before? We don’t know. Some old fans may be disappointed while others may take it as a welcome break from the touch screen games on their cell phones.
