Benefits Of Drinking Water Drinking water regularly is no longer a trend. It gets substituted with sodas, colas, tea, coffee, alcohol and many more liquids. Some say that they are not thirsty while others don’t really fear dehydration.So why is it necessary to drink water?

1) Water helps in losing weight: It is mainly because water contains zero calories. Any soda or juice will contain some amount of sugar or glucose which adds to the weight gain. Besides if we drink a glass of water before our meals, it curbs down our appetite.

2) Water reduces heart problems: Research and studies carried out indicate that drinking good amount of water lowers the risk of heart attack.

3) Water provides energy: A glass of water revitalizes the body. When we feel thirsty, it indicates that we are already dehydrated and need a refill. Dehydration can lead to muscle weakness, dizziness and lethargy. Lack of water can also cause headaches.

4) Water nourishes the skin: Drinking water helps to clear the skin. It makes it fresh and supple.

5) Water detoxifies the body: Water helps to flush the toxins from the body and prevents constipation and piles. Digestion becomes easier, reducing gastric problems. It reduces the risk of colon and bladder cancer.

Water is a divine liquid, clear and tasteless. Drinking water is the best way to balance the fundamentals that make us who we are.
