Haunting Causes Mass Evacuation Of A Village
May 31, 2007
On 11th May 2007, a bus collided with a tractor on a bridge and toppled down. Seventeen victims were known to have died instantly while the rest of the bodies withered in pain.
The villagers of Hajipur, Bihar, India tried their best to rescue the passengers through the mangled remains. This event has changed the atmosphere and tranquility of this area.
People have now moved out from their houses and relocated. They come to the village during the day to attend to their livestock and farms and leave at dusk. The reason – sounds of unearthly voices and eerie feelings.
The officials of the area deny this and believe that the people are being superstitious and spreading uncalled rumors. They believe that watching people die in pain, have affected their judgement.
Untimely death and dying in accidents are known to give rise to paranormal sightings. But how far will people go and prove this is yet to be seen.
